Don,

I send my apologies regarding the delays I have experienced
with the ducts and the piping. I can assure you that the time
spent in my personal life has not been the holdup for these
items although I can completely understand how it may appear to
you.

I know it shouldn’t become your problem as a customer and I
appreciate any consideration of the situation you may have.
There have been unexpected delays with the ducts due to the
molding patterns for those items and we have attempted to run
parts from them twice now and had to repair the patterns in
both instances. With the schedule of work this time of year
that the fiberglass shop is primarily catering to alongside my
needs, I have been at their mercy and done all of the repair
work on the patterns myself to reduce the time. As of last
week I met with them to figure out what the next step is to
building molding patterns that will hold up for production-
level output. I am expecting that through the course of this
week, they will have the new molds made and production will
begin. There are only two sets out there and one of them are
on my Z which was the original pair used for final fitment
check and the second went to a customer who was having a lot of
work done on his car and wanted to get it all done at the same
time. I have tried to be as accommodating as possible for my
customers and do sincerely appreciate the patience they have
shown. I would be happy to send you the set of ducts that are
currently on my Z if even only to show good will on my part.

The 2.5” piping kit has been delayed given that there have been
delays in receiving parts I need in order to build them; parts
from places like XXX and XXXXXXXXXX, of all places. I am by
no means passing the buck on responsibility and pointing any
fingers here though as I know it was me who stated when I
thought this kit would be ready and I am accepting
responsibility for that. I am waiting for xxxxxxxxxx to show
up from xxxx at the moment for Dee Ridgeway’s TT that is at my
shop and will be used to construct the final pattern set for
the piping kits. I have been waiting for that for two months
now.

Again, I know that these details are not your problem and I am
not giving you excuses – I screwed up when I misjudged the
amount of time it would take for everything to come together.
However, I can assure you that I have not given up on the
ducts or the piping kits and those who have paid for items will
be receiving them (or a refund if so desired).

Thankyou for your understanding in all of this – let me know
what I can do for you and I will be happy to oblige.
-Ash
